Physical Therapist and Owner
Personal
I love to run, lift, bike, read and learn about the body. I ran cross country and track at Unity Christian and then Calvin University. I now compete on the RunGR racing team. I have been married just over 5 years to my husband Tony. We live in Hudsonville, close to our friends and family and are members of a local church.
I am passionate about helping others live out their lives feeling strong and healthy, while utilizing the gifts they have been given. Whether this looks like high level sports, or regaining one’s strength and balance to walk more confidently, I am excited help you get there.
Education
I went to Grand Valley State University for my Doctorate of Physical Therapy. I am a certified personal trainer and have advanced training in scoliosis specific exercises, trigger point dry needling, orthopedic manual therapy, women’s health/pelvic floor disorders, and pregnancy and postpartum corrective exercises. Additionally, I have practiced with cupping, IASTM, and Blood Flow Restriction treatments.

I grew up in Fort Wayne, Indiana and moved to Michigan to attend Grand Valley State University, where I ran cross country and track for the Lakers. I was fortunate to be part of two National Championship winning teams and earn 2x first-team All-American honors. Those years as a collegiate runner sparked my passion for helping other runners recover from injury and get back to the trails — but I truly enjoy working with patients of every age and background to help them reach their goals, whether that’s returning to sport, building strength in the gym, or moving more comfortably in everyday life. I especially value using hands-on manual therapy techniques to address pain, restore movement, and speed up recovery.
Outside the clinic, I enjoy spending time with my husband, traveling around the U.S., exploring new coffee shops, attending concerts, visiting Lake Michigan, and reading. We’re also active in our local church community.
Education
I earned my Bachelor of Science in Clinical Exercise Science (2019) and Doctor of Physical Therapy (2022) from Grand Valley State University. Since graduating, I’ve pursued advanced training in rehab for runners, the McKenzie Method (Parts A & B) for cervical and low back pain, Selective Functional Movement Assessment (SFMA Levels 1 & 2), and Certification in Applied Functional Science (CAFS). I’m committed to staying evidence-based and bringing the best tools to help you move, heal, and thrive.

I earned my Bachelor of Science in Strategic Communications, with an emphasis in Public Relations, from Indiana Wesleyan University in 2015, where I also competed in track and field and cross country. In 2021, I completed my Master of Business Administration in Leadership at Olivet Nazarene University.

Personal
I was born and raised in Grand Rapids, MI, and graduated from Hillsdale College in 2017. Over the course of a decade at a local private practice, I gained extensive experience in medical administration, including scheduling, patient records management, and insurance coordination, with a focus on optimizing patient care.
I am thrilled to join Renewed Physical Therapy, where I can continue helping people navigate and make the most of their insurance benefits. Outside of healthcare coordination, I enjoy homemaking and spending time with my husband, our daughter, and our identical twin sons.
